About Begonia 'Little Brother Montgomery'
Little Brother Montgomery is an upright, jointed rhizomatous begonia hybrid with leaves mixing blackish-brown and silver tones, highlighted by a red flush where each leaf blade meets its petiole (the umbo). Its distinctive dark, textured foliage and modest size have kept it a favourite among rhizomatous begonia collectors for decades.

Before you buy
- Confirm leaf colouring mixes blackish-brown and silver tones with a red flush concentrated at the umbo (where blade meets petiole), not spread evenly across the leaf
- Check the rhizome is jointed and upright, not a low creeping form; that's this cultivar's stated growth habit
- Don't expect a strongly visible vein pattern; venation is described as subtle and largely obscured by the dark leaf colouring
- No tracked median price or market trend data yet, so treat a listed price as one seller's asking figure rather than a confirmed market rate
- Mature size stays small to medium (20-35 cm); be wary of listings implying an unusually large specimen under this name
